Core power yoga or abdominals, yoga is the Western version of the Indian Ashtanga or Raja Yoga. The term was given by Beryl Bender Birch, an Ashtanga Yoga Instructor. It has been brought to the west by followers of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, a renowned Sanskrit scholar who inspired Western Yogis with his Ashtanga Yoga Style and philosophies

It brings healing to body systems by detoxifying and stimulates the body and mind through balance and focus.

Power yoga combines sweat, strength, and spirituality in a very dynamic approach. First, it strengthens the physical body and secondly the mental mind. And perfect health means mental and physical so it's about the connection between the inner and outer because the body affects the mind and the mind also affects the body too.
There are three programs in power yoga.  1."Core Power"  which is designed to strengthen the abdominals , and back.  2."To open up  Athletic Power" which increase flexible and strength with the focus on abs, back, hips and pelvis.  3"Soul of Strength"  core power yoga is a type of yoga that done in a fast-moving method.
